Someone has invested some time in the engine bay, with Ford Blue paint on the block, chrome valve covers and an open-element air cleaner, and lots of recent work. Power steering and 4-wheel drum brakes were par for the course in 1959, but the car is easy to drive and runs down the road with a smoothness you just won’t find in modern iron. A 3-speed automatic transmission drives the original rear end, and the chassis is probably 100% original save for maintenance items.
