Vehicle Details A numbers matching, frame off, nut and bolt restoration completed in 2018. Over $130,000 spent on restoration. If you are interested in one of the best 1967– please read to the end.
Many NOS parts were purchased and used in the restoration. All parts are numbers correct and date correct. A complete list of all parts including part numbers and dates or date codes is available.
The culmination of the restoration returned a Chapter Top Flight Award in August 2018 with a score of 98%. Since then I’ve addressed several of the deduction areas. I had planned on having the car judged at a 2020 Regional however that has been delayed.
THE DEALERSHIP The car was delivered to, and sold new, by the Jack Dankel Chevrolet Dealership, Allentown, PA. This dealership is now out of business. However, over the past several years I have scoured the internet and collected a number of Jack Dankel dealership sales items from the 1960s which will be included with the sale of the car.
