1965 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible Karmann with under 34k miles, fully restored from the ground up in 1998-2000, painted a 1972 Mercedes taupe color. This has been a “driver” car and mechanically is very sound and maintained. Just fixed an oil leak. All records and history available, 1600cc engine, started to need some work on paint, some rust around headlight, on doors, on mirrors, upholstery coming away from door and rip in seat on driver’s side. Also, there has been a water leak coming from the driver’s window, since the windows are no longer aligned with the convertible top. Some rust may be other places as well. It will come with a custom boot cover in black and the same material as the convertible top is, which is really nice. It was kept covered in the winter for years. This car is a rare find and a solid automobile. A true collector car. It has always been licensed in California and has the original plate. The bump on the driver’s side quarter panel was from a bus and we didn’t want to try to match it after the paint had faded. All of these things are taken into consideration with the price. There is no reserve. No we won’t take $2 for it, please be reasonable and please be able to pay if you bid.
