1968 Dodge Charger (VIN XP29H8G237132) – Originally a green car. 383 4-bbl HP automatic with bucket seats and a center console. The car has factory A/C and starts and runs down the road great. It had been in storage since 1992. Previous owner painted the car white many years ago and tried to patch the right rear quarter panel. It had a vinyl top but was removed long ago. Other than the paint, the car appears original and does not show any signs of an accident. The car was undercoated so the undercarriage is good. The interior is pretty good with the exception of the driver’s seat which shows wear. All the trim and bumpers are excellent. It needs a new exhaust but sounds pretty good with the wasted mufflers. The original build sheet was still behind the rear seat and a picture is included. I installed a new radiator (original included), put on a new Edelbrock 650 (original carburetor included), slapped on some wheels and tires I had laying around (original rally wheels included) and it fired right up using a plastic gas can for a tank (see pics). We have been driving it around town for months and getting a lot of thumbs up. There is rust in the quarters and trunk (see pics) but the floors are solid. This is a survivor you can cruise around as is or turn it into a show car. It has been a long time since I have seen one that is complete, unmolested, unrestored and in almost original condition. Will release vehicle when funds clear or green crosses my hands.
