Clean 1973 Ford Gran Torino – 69,400 actual miles as reflected on odometer and title I bought the car with the intent of finishing it. Elderly parents now need 24 hr care, so I won’t be able to get to this for a while. Better to let someone else enjoy it than let time slowly eat it.
Rides nice, too. I cleaned the entire car, and found it to be better than I hoped. Very clean underneath, coated in Ziebart rust preventer early in it’s life, and it wasn’t driven much.
Someone did a joke of a job trying to fix and failed. Interior sail panels need attention, but they are not junk. The package tray needs replaced (has aftermarket 6×9 speakers, but no radio).
I’d suggest new ones to be safe. They all hold air, and so far, no leak down (2+ months). Complete bumper jack and the original spare are properly mounted in the trunk.
